Runion Leaf Generator

Leaf generation project following Runion's algorithm from the "Computer Generated Natural Phenomenon" class at Brigham Young University.

Runion's algorithm, described in Modeling and visualization of leaf venation patters (SIGGRAPH 2005) uses a biological model of leaf growth to generate realiztic venation patterns (the vein lines) in leaves. This algorithm models "auxin" sources, which are growth-promoting hormone sites, which cause veins to grow in that direction.
